Artificially Intelligent Program

Vehicle operation is automatically adjusted to suit the driver's intention or changing driving conditions for the best ride and handling. At the same time the transmission stays in the optimal gear for the smoothest ride and lowest fuel consumption. While in Drive, just nudge the gear shift lever left or right to get the dynamic response one expects from a manual transmission.

Additional Functions

In Winter mode, the vehicle will start out in second gear to prevent slipping on icy surfaces. The transmission features five forward gears and two reverse gears, while a lock-up torque converter links the transmission directly to the engine when the vehicle is travelling at steady speed, maximising fuel economy and output transfer.

Part-Time Electronic 4WD System

A dual range transfer case allows the engine's bottom end and midrange torque to be maximised when driving up or down steep slopes or through mud. The part-time 4-wheel drive even lets you switch from 2WD to 4WD while the vehicle is in gear and on the fly.

Suspension

Double Wishbone Front Suspension

The double wishbone suspension, which is mainly used on high-end SUVs and luxury automobiles, improves the vehicle's stability and steering control.

Twin arms maintain the best wheel contract on constantly changing surfaces for better driving stability, while precise wheel alignment enhances both stability and handling.

Dual action gas-filled shock absorbers, stabiliser bar, lower and upper arms, and coil springs combine to elevate ride comfort to the passenger car level.

Five-Link Suspension

The five links effectively disperse the shock transfers from the road surface for maximum ride comfort.
