The Actyon Ute is a vehicle designed for work and play. SsangYong has imported a range of new factory accessories for the versatile Ute and has fitted it out and will be promoting it at Field Days from 15 – 18 June 2011.

SsangYong supports Land Search and Rescue volunteers

SsangYong NZ has signed a three year sponsorship deal with the volunteer organisation that saved 84 lives and took 1,275 people out of harm's way last year - Land Search and Rescue New Zealand (LandSAR).

LandSAR have over 3,500 trained volunteers, working throughout New Zealand, providing search and rescue support for the lost, missing and injured. SsangYong NZ General Manager, Deon Cooper says LandSAR is a hugely valuable organisation for New Zealanders and visitors who enjoy the outdoors, and SsangYong is privileged to be in a position to support the group and their volunteers.

First South Island dealer for SsangYong

Armstrong Motor Group, based at 161 St Asaph Street in Christchurch, will be providing sales and lease options for the full range of SsangYong vehicles as well as providing parts and service support to new and existing SsangYong customers.

SsangYong supports NRL match in Taupo

SsangYong NZ is getting behind Taupō events and sponsoring the upcoming NRL match between the Hisense Cronulla Sharks and Vodafone Auckland Warriors at Owen Delany Park on Sunday 3 April 2011.

SsangYong NZ General Manager, Deon Cooper says this will be the first time an international game of this calibre has been played at Taupō's Owen Delany Park and it is a historic event. "We are privileged to be supporting such a prestigious Taupō event."

New clean green engines for SsangYong
