Features
2.7l Turbo Diesel Engine
This state of the art common rail diesel engine ensures a quiet and smooth ride while achieving higher levels of performance and fuel economy.
The Stavic diesel is powered by a third-generation turbocharger with maximum power of 121kW @ 4000rpm and maximum torque of 340Nm @ 1800rpm.
T-Tronic 5-speed automatic transmission with Thumbs Up manual shift feature
The transmission system comes with SsangYong's innovative steering wheelmounted shift buttons. An AI programme monitors and "remembers" the driver's gear shifting habits and determines the shift points for optimal smoothness and fuel efficiency. The transmission is linked directly to the engine via a lock-up torque converter, minimising energy loss for even greater fuel savings. And T-Tronic comes with Winter Mode, allowing you to start out or back up in second gear to prevent slipping on snow or ice.
Double Wishbone Suspension in Front
The double wishbone suspension is mainly used on high-end SUVs to improve vehicular stability and steering control.
Each wheel is secured by two control arms to maintain maximum grip on uneven surfaces and contain lateral movement, improving steering stability and ride comfort.
Multi-link Suspension in Rear
The more links there are in the rear, the better road shock is dispersed. The Stavic boasts a 10-link system, found on some of the world's most well known luxury cars.
